Chicago Toy and Game Fair

Last year Fandads went to the Chicago Toy & Game Fair and we had a blast. (Read about our visit here). This year the Fair is heading to the bigger Hall H at Navy Pier on November 17-18 and Fandads has family passes to giveaway to two lucky readers on our Facebook page and our Blog.  Before we let you know how you can score passes let us tell you a little about the Toy and Game Fair.

The toy fair is “the largest toy and game fair in the U.S. open to the public. ChiTAG brings together consumers, families, inventors, manufacturers, retailers, educators, hobbyists, and the media, at the start of the holiday season, to play, celebrate, discover, support, and promote the creation of toys and games.”  In other words, it’s a great display of new toys and a fun way to try them out before they are released in stores.

Not only are there cool toys to play with, but there is also a Star Wars Luncheon with members of the 501st Vader’s Fist.  The luncheon is separate from the show and you must register to attend.  Not only do you have lunch with Star Wars characters, but you also get a Hasbro gift bag filled with all types of goodies!

Last year was a lot of fun and my little toy tester really enjoyed her visit at the fair (she’s the one with the Hello Kitty bag).  Fandads will be attending the show again this year and we would like to take some of our fellow Fandads with us.

So how can you get a family pass you ask? Just go to the Chicago Toy & Game Fair website, “like” them on Facebook, then leave a comment here telling us what you are looking forward to seeing at the show.  We will be giving away one pass each week until the date of the show on the blog and on our Facebook page. So if you leave a comment on both the blog and the Facebook page you can increase your chances of getting a pass.

Don’t worry Fandads, if you were not able to win a family pass, we still got you covered.  We also have a $2 off coupon for you to use at the show. So download it, get the kids together and go to Navy Pier and play with some toys, maybe we’ll see you there.

Thanks for reading.
