Chance the Rapper X WNDR Museum

Celebrated global hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper today announced he will launch The Chance Store, a special retail pop-up at WNDR Museum Chicago, in celebration of his sold-out Acid Rap Ten Year Anniversary Show at the United Center on August 19. Running August 16 – 20, The Chance Store will feature a limited supply of exclusive merchandise, apparel and accessories including the 10th anniversary edition of the Acid Rap album on vinyl and CD, a collaboration can with Lyrical Lemonade and Chance’s iconic “3” hats in Acid Rap colorways.

“Collaborating with WNDR Museum in celebration of Acid Rap’s 10-year anniversary is like blending creativity and curiosity in the most colorful and inspiring way,” states Chance the Rapper. “It’s great to physically see The Chance Store and to build out the festivities for the sold-out show at the United Center!”

Guests to The Chance Store on Friday, August 18 will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets to Chance’s sold-out Acid Rap Ten Year Anniversary Show at the United Center, taking place Saturday, August 19. Adding to the week’s excitement, Chicago’s Willis Tower will illuminate pink and purple hues to celebrate Acid Rap on Friday, August 18 beginning at sunset.

In addition to The Chance Store, WNDR Museum will transform nearly 15 of its most popular interactive exhibits into “The Acid Rap Experience” in celebration of the album’s 10th anniversary. The Acid Rap Experience will launch at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 16 and run through Sunday, August 20.

The Chance Store is open to the public free of charge. “The Acid Rap Experience” is included with any ticket to WNDR Museum Chicago purchased between 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 16 and 8 p.m. Sunday, August 20. Tickets start at $32 and must be purchased in advance at www.wndrchicago.com. Children’s tickets are available for ages 12 and under starting at $22. Children under ages two and under receive free admission.
