The LEGO animated series is always a great way to tell stories that might not be possible in live-action movies. Through the magic of LEGO, we get fun adventures from our favorite heroes, and LEGO Avengers: Strange Tails is a perfect example of this. In LEGO Avengers: Strange Tails, the Avengers have to face a new threat to their world that they have never faced before.
In this new adventure, we meet Meryet Karim, a cat content creator, filming in the local museum. While there, Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil attack the museum and are thwarted by the Avengers. While trying not to get hurt, she starts livestreaming the fight and watches as her views and likes grow during the fight. The team gets bested by the Brotherhood but is saved by Hawkeye.
Hawkeye saves the day and becomes the toast of the town due to his heroics. Everywhere he goes, people want to take a picture with him or give him VIP-level attention. Hawkeye starts to enjoy his new status, but the sudden appearance of feral cats slowly takes that attention away from him. Little by little, the cats are everywhere, and Hawkeye wants to get to the bottom of their appearance.
LEGO Avengers: Strange Tails offers viewers a fun adventure and creates a team of lower-tier characters that might not get a chance to shine. The new team consists of Tigra, Black Cat, White Tiger, and Black Panther. Yes, a team composed of cat-themed heroes joins up to take down a cat content creator. The team collaborates to bring down Meryet and the minions she controls, aiming to take over the world.
The 2-episode series is not only filled with action, but also with easter eggs for fans of the Marvel movies and television shows. The series does a great job of showing the importance of teamwork and how sometimes you need to get out of your comfort zone. Hawkeye learns a few lessons about working with others while collaborating with the cat-themed team.
Final Thoughts: LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails is a fun short series that highlights the unique stories that can be told using the LEGO format. Hawkeye takes the lead in this show and proves why he is a valuable member of the Avengers. Seeing a new team work together shows that there are more characters in the Marvel Universe than the ones we always see. LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails is a great watch for all!
Violence: The violence depicted in the series is animated violence and not much different from other LEGO Marvel adventures.
Kid-Friendly: The show is very kid-friendly and has valuable lessons for kids of all ages.
Hawkeye and The Avengers have made saving the world look easy. But now they face their wildest threat yet: SOCIAL MEDIA. To save the world, a new team must be recruited to help our heroes contend with an influencer bent on cataclysmic destruction!
