Invest in Los Angeles Comic Con!

Have you ever wanted to own a part of a convention you love? If you answered yes, check out the latest press release from Los Angeles Comic Con.

Los Angeles Comic Con, L.A.’s largest event for comics, gaming, sci-fi, anime and pop culture, today announces a 60-day extension to its fan investment campaign on StartEngine, giving supporters more time to become an owner and help shape the next chapter of the convention. With a minimum of only $300 to invest in a major fan convention, the team at Comikaze Entertainment wanted to extend the opportunity of ownership to the fans that have made the show what it is since 2011. a

“By welcoming our fans as new owners, we’ll use the capital raised to pursue our mission of delighting them with more of  the content, talent, brands and activations they love,” said Chris DeMoulin, CEO/GM of Los Angeles Comic Con parent company Comikaze Entertainment Inc. “L.A. Comic Con’s fan-centric model has proven to be successful for over a decade, but we have reached the point where continued growth requires additional capital.”

Since the first show after the pandemic began, L.A. Comic Con has grown by more than 50% by expanding into the Los Angeles Convention Center’s West Hall, bringing in more high profile guests, adding fan-requested gaming and anime destinations, and this past year expanding horror.  All this complements the show’s traditional comics and pop culture Con, and resulted in a new fan attendance record in 2025, with over 130,000 attendees.

Even with this remarkable momentum, L.A. Comic Con remains a small, independent locally owned and operated company, one that has achieved outsized success without access to the significant capital typically required for large-scale event expansion. With additional capital, the next phase of growth may include growing the existing event with new features, guests, or activations; extending the show with additional days or hours; launching additional events throughout the year, featuring the convention’s most successful activations; collaboration with other organizers or community partners to expand content and venue offerings; or acquiring existing events in adjacent fan genres that align with L.A. Comic Con.

The deadline to invest is February 16, 2026  at 11:59 PST, with ownership opportunities starting at $300 and offering exclusive perks tied to participation levels. Owners of all levels will receive a complimentary 2026 event ticket and an exclusive fast-pass for autograph and photo-op lines, an experience normally reserved only for VVIP pass holders. The offering is valued at $13.93 million, with a funding goal of $100,000 to $1.24 million, with between 125,000 and 1,543,750 shares available.
