Dwayne Johnson is having a pretty good year. From hit comedies with Kevin Hart, playing a demigod in the Disney movie Moana and starring on the hit HBO show Ballers, its seem like The Rock has been busy cooking a lot of great stuff.

If you have yet to see him in HBO’s Ballers, fear not. The show just completed its second season and the third is being filmed as of this writing. What is Ballers? The show deals with the financial side of the NFL and the relationships that these agents have with their clients.now while that may not sound exciting the situations these guys get into to help their clients make for an interesting show.

Dwayne Johnson plays Spencer Strasmore, a former football player, that has had some bad times in his past that cost him friends and millions of dollars. How is someone going to hire this guy who couldn’t take care of his own finances to take care of theirs? That is the great part of the show as we see Spencer try to gain the confidence of his potential clients and they know about his own history. The clients in the show are also great characters and that’s one reason I keep coming back. I want to see how these players grow in their respective teams and how they grow as people.

Ballers is a fun some with a great cast and some pretty interesting storylines that will have you coming back each week to see what’s going to happen.

Just in time for the release of season 2, we have teamed up with HBO to giveaway a DVD copy to our readers. To win this copy, which includes “After the Episodes segments and a digital download, answer the following question in the comments below:

About Ballers Season 2

In Season 2 of Ballers, things are getting more competitive and complicated for retired football star turned financial manager Spencer Strasmore. As the lines between professional and personal blur in his pursuit of lasting success and glory, Spencer must face demons from the past when he goes head-to-head with the biggest business manager on the scene. Meanwhile, Spencer’s closest friends and clients struggle to find their footing. A humbled Ricky (John David Washington, former pro-football player) explores his options as a free agent, while getting to know the father who left him behind; Charles (Omar Miller) tries to balance a new baby and his future in the game; and Vernon (Donovan Carter) deals with the consequences of his life off the field. Returning to help Spencer juggle lucrative deals and big personalities are his outrageous business partner, Joe (Rob Corddry), level-headed agent, Jason (Troy Garity) and girlfriend/sports reporter, Tracy (Arielle Kebbel). In a business where it’s go big or go home, Spencer and his crew are about to learn that having it all means being ready to fight for more dollars, deals, and respect.
