What do our pets do when we are not around? If you ask me, I think my dog has parties or finds a way to crawl into our bed and sleep. Now, while my imagination can only go so far when thinking about what she does when we are away, The Secret Life of Pets gives us a somewhat look into what our pets might be doing when we are away.
My family and I went to see this movie when it was in theaters and it was pretty funny. We know going in that our children would love it, but my wife and I really liked it and there were a lot of fun jokes for parents in the movie.
If you have been living in a bubble and have never heard of The Secret Life of Pets, here is the official synopsis:
In their fifth fully animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures present The Secret Life of Pets, a comdedy about the lives our pets lead when we leave for work or school. Max, voiced by Louis C.K., is a loyal terrier living a perfectly happy existence until his owner, Katie (Ellie Kemper) brings home Duke (Eric Stonestreet) a big, boisterous mutt she finds at the shelter. When Max and his unruly new “roommate” slip away from their dog-walker, they find themselves lost in the urban jungle of New York City. In an attempt to stay ahead of animal control and a rebel band of abandonded pets led by an unhinged bunny names Snowball (Kevin Har), they put aside their differences to survive the epic journey back home.
To celebrate the release of the movie: Digitally on November 22 and in stores on December 6, The fandads have teamed up with Illumination and Universal to giveaway 5 copies of The Secret Life of Pets to our readers.
