The Fandads dress up for the holidays #sponsored

Look at that couple in the picture above.  You would think that they are always dressed up and going to all the trendiest places, but that is the complete opposite. The PlayCHIC fashion show was the one time where we both were able to dress up and I got to represent Fandads with my Star Wars Rebel Insignia tie that I purchased at Cufflinks.com.

Now while I like to dress up every now and then, I am not a fashion blogger.  When I worked as a teacher, I would always come into the classroom with a shirt, tie and dress pants.  Occasionally I would show up wearing a pair of jeans to class and it would blow the kids minds that I actually owned a pair.

With the holidays coming up, there will be more opportunities for me to get dressed up, but I would also like my son to have some style in his outfits, too.  Luckily the fine folks at Cufflinks.com have come out with a fantastic new series of Star Wars related children accessories that can make any young padawan look like a Jedi Knight out on the town.

Now what you see above is just a small sampling of the children’s line that they have.  The bow tie is a hook closure that can be adjusted to your child’s neck and the tie is a zipper that is very easy to adjust. Even at the tightest setting the bow tie was still a little big for my son, but that only means that he will be able to grow into it and get a lot of use from it.

There are a lot of great designs on the website to choose from. There is a cool Dark Side Father and Son gift set that includes a Darth Vader tie for dad and a matching bow-tie for the child. I would love to get one of those someday or maybe even a few new pieces from the Force Awakens products that have just arrived.

My little man looked handsome in his tie and received a lot of compliments from his cousins and grandparents.  I think I have found the perfect gift for my nephews for their upcoming birthdays and special occasions. I think the only hard part will be to decide which items to buy for them.

I can let you know that if you want to keep up with the latest trends or see a well-dressed dad you can visit my friend The It Dad and check him and his fashionable family out. I wish he lived near me so we could go shopping together and he can give my wardrobe an upgrade.
