Disney has two fun family movies coming out soon: Alice Through the Looking Glass and Finding Dory and to get you excited about them we have some fun activity sheets to hold you over until the movies release. I mean, what can be more fun than coloring The Mad Hatter or Dory on a rainy day or playing a memory game after dinner. These are just a few examples of some of the activity sheets that we have in store for you thank to our friends from Disney.
Looking for a fun way to count down the days until both movies are released? Print out this fun weekly calendar and you can not only keep track of your activities but also count down until the big day. I think I will draw Dory on June 17th, so I don’t forget…wait, what was I talking about.
We all know that Dory has a pretty short memory, but what about yourself? Why not play this memory game to strengthen your memory and have fun at the same time. Maybe you could schedule your matches on the weekly calendar…just a thought.
Mobiles are pretty fun to make and also pretty frustrating. If you do not balance it right it just looks like objects hanging on a string, but if you do it correctly it can be a pretty cool to look at. This mobile from Finding Dory has a lot of the key characters from the movie and will help your children get familiar with them. Who is the beluga whale and why does the octopus have shifty eyes?
If those activity sheets do not hold you over then jump through the rabbit hole to get more activity sheets from the upcoming Alice Through the Looking Glass…see what I did there, rabbit hole…ok, I’ll stop with the jokes.
If your child has not read any of the books in the Alice series, why not make them a little interesting with these Alice bookmarks. Each of these 5 bookmarks showcases one of the characters from the film and are pretty cool to look at. Make one or make them all, the choice is yours.
Kind of like the memory game above, Spot the Difference games are always a lot of fun for me. I love the challenge of working with my daughter to try to find all the differences and seeing my her eyes light up when we complete the page. Yeah, this one is a little tricky because of all the colors and images, but I think this will be a fun one to work on.
I did mention coloring in the beginning of this post and right now coloring is a big thing for adults, so why not print out these images and relax with your child while coloring your favorite characters. There are 5 pages to chose from: Alice, The Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat and two of the Rabbit.
If you want to get lost in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter this maze might do the trick or if you want a puzzle to make and create you can get one here. I know I mentioned coloring with Dory and we posted those on a previous post, but you can still get those coloring sheets here.
While you are waiting for your pages to print out, here is a little scene to accompany you while you wait.
ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS opens in theaters everywhere on May 27th and FINDING DORY swims into theaters everywhere on June 17th.
