May the Force be with us! A look at what’s to come from ROGUE ONE.

If you were living in a bubble this weekend or too busy playing Pokémon Go, you might have missed out on some MAJOR Star Wars news revealed at Star Wars Celebration Europe. During the ROGUE ONE: A Star Wars Story panel, the poster for the movie was released to the public. The poster shows a battle taking place on the beach with the Death Star ominously looming in the background. But, that is not all the news that was announced.

Along with the full cast being on stage, the crowd was showed a sizzle reel similar to the one that THE FORCE AWAKENS shared before the movie was released.  In this reel we see…well, I’ll just let you see for yourself.

So many awesome moments in that clip that it makes me want to speed up time to see it now. The fun part is trying to figure out what is going on in all those scenes and just imagining the fun that the actors are having in being in a Star Wars movie.
The fans in attendance were also treated to the next trailer for Rogue One, but we can only wait and see when it will be released to the general public.

One of the highlights for all the action figure collectors was when panel moderator Gwendoline Chrisite aka Captain Phasma handed Felicity Jones her very own Jyn Erso action figure. No word as to when the figure will be released, but I would guess it will be available as we get closer to the release date of the movie.

The awesome part of having a Jyn Erso figure is that it shows that we will see a lot of Jyn Erso on toy shelves and hopefully she won’t be that hard to find like the Rey figure. Remember the whole #WheresRey fiasco from last year. I have yet to find a Rey figure in my local stores.
As cool as this Jyn figure is, I can’t wait to see what other characters are going to be released with the first wave of figures. The Jyn Erso figure seems to come with a removable headscarf and a pretty cool looking “Han Solo belt” as Felicity Jones called it.

Thanks for reading and keep checking back with us as we will keep you up to date with all Star Wars news.
