On Tuesday, October 14 from 4 – 8 p.m., the 94th Floor Observation Deck will be home to spiders, snakes, a clairvoyant, an evil clown and Chicago’s highest thrill ride. Also, Malört.
360 CHICAGO, the iconic observation deck atop the former John Hancock Center, is inviting guests to conquer their fears — from the sky-high to the unexpectedly quirky — on National Face Your Fears Day, Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 4–8 p.m.
I’m This one-of-a-kind event will offer fun, interactive experiences designed to challenge participants in a safe (and thrilling) environment:
• Fear of Heights? Take the plunge with TILT, Chicago’s highest thrill ride and only tilting observation deck experience. Riders will see the Chicago skyline while being tilted out over the street below, more than 1,000 feet up.
• Fear of things that creep and crawl? Meet the team at the Reptile Den along with their cadre of spiders, snakes and other critters that slither and hiss.
• Fear of Clowns? Brave the unexpected with a pop-up clown encounter.
• Fear of the Future? Gain insight with complimentary on-site Tarot Card readings.
• Fear of Social Situations? Let our conversation cards guide you into fun, effortless chats.
• Fear of Needles? Get a complimentary flu shot, because courage comes in all forms.
• Fear of Malört? Sample the famously bitter local spirit and face your tastebuds head-on.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to attend, explore their limits, and enjoy the unforgettable 360-degree views of Chicago while participating in these lighthearted, confidence-building activities. All activities with the exception of TILT are included in a general admission ticket. A ride on TILT can be purchased on the 94th floor for $10 – or less if purchased in advance.
