The Fandads are ready to act #LikeASuperHero with Nestle! #Sponsored

Being a stay-at-home dad I sometimes wish I had a clone helping me out with my daily chores….strike that, I wish I had a multitude of clones available to help me out every day.  From preparing my daughter for school, driving my wife to work and running errands with my son, things would be a lot easier if I had specific clones assigned to help out with these chores.

One thing I might have to worry about is: what if these clones start to malfunction? Who will help my family? Well, the obvious answer is me, since I got us into this mess with the clones, but I might need a little help, maybe super hero help.

When dealing with clones, things are going to go wrong sooner or later.  Just look at the trailers for Avengers: Age of Ultron.  It seems that Tony Stark was trying to make things a little easier by building new robots and that did not go as smoothly as he thought it would.  Now the Avengers have to “Assemble” and take care of this new menace.

I am lucky enough to have my own team of helpers here at Fandads Homebase, but in order for us to take on any challenge we have to have look the part. Lucky for us, our friends at Nestle sent us a package of their ready-to-drink flavored milks, some masks and a cape. I honestly thought the package was what I needed to make my clones, but it was exactly what I needed to suit up my team of mini-heroes.

Our Nesquik goodies

While my team and I colored our masks and decided who was going to have what power, it kind of dawned on me that I do not need clones in my life.  I realized that having a few clones might make me miss out on important moments or interactions with my family. Don’t get me wrong, I would still like a clone to do my grocery shopping, but I’d rather spend as much time with my family as possible.

My daughter calls me her superhero, due to all the things we do together, like how I help her get ready in the mornings, our fun little walks to school and when we do crafts together.  She says that I can do everything and that’s why I am her superhero.  Now, I can’t fly, but hearing her say things like that makes me feel like I can soar through the clouds.
After my daughter and I were done coloring our masks and chasing my son around the house we decided to take a team picture together.

What’s our first mission?

Ready to take on anything!

After a few tries we decided on the picture above to be our team picture.  My son will be the secret weapon of the group, he looks cute and cuddly, but he is dangerous.  So what can we do with this awesome picture of our team?  Why not make it even more awesome by putting it on something that everyone can see and say to themselves, “How can I get one of those?”  So using our supercomputer we sent our image out to our friends at Nesquik and this is what we got back in return.

Our personalized Nesquik canister.

Pretty awesome right?  While we have not come up with a team name (the Avengers was already taken) we will have some team meetings and focus groups to see what we will call ourselves.  In the meantime, Team Fandads is waiting to see what adventures come up that will need our help.

So what’s new with Nesquik?
Nestle Nesquik is announcing a 15 percent or more reduction in added sugar across its portfolio of chocolate and strawberry powders and ready-to-drink flavored milks.  Nesquik has also eliminated all artificial colors and flavors in its Chocolate and Strawberry Powders.
This means, less sugar, less artificial flavors and no high fructose corn syrup.
Quick Dad Hack.
When I was younger my father would put some Nesquik Powder in the pancake mix when he would make us breakfast.  So some mornings my sisters and I would have strawberry pancakes other mornings it would be chocolate pancakes.  I do this today, but use the Nesquik syrup when I make pancakes with my kids.  I usually use about 3-4 tablespoons when I make my chocolate pancakes.
If you try this out, let me know what you think in the comments below.
Thanks again to Nestle for letting us be part of this promotion and thank you for reading.

(Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with an Amazon gift card, Avengers Role Play toys and Nesquik product for this post. We want our readers to know that all opinions are our own and were not persuaded by a talking bunny giving us chocolate milk. The recipe is also something that I grew up with and I learned it from my father.)
