I remember going to the movies to see Point Break with my sisters and cousins. Watching this movie I felt such a rush to see what was going on on the big screen. I remember gripping the arms of the theater chair tight as Keanu Reeves’ face was being pushed closer and closer to the lawnmower. The movie had so many great moments that it’s become one of those movies that I stop whatever I am doing and watch it if it’s on television.
Thanks to our friends at Shout! Studios, there is a new Collector’s Edition that has just come out with a 4K upgrade to the movie and it looks amazing! From the beach fights to the surfing and the skydiving finale, the movie looks incredible and will be watched plenty of times in my house! While there are a few special features on the disc, there are no commentaries which would have been awesome to hear.
