Arthur the King was a movie that we missed seeing in theaters. I would see the commercials for the movie and see the stars being interviewed but I never got around to seeing the movie. We were given a review copy and the movie was not only great but it was heartwarming and had my family really invested in what was next for Arthur. Yes, the movie will pull you in and you will be shedding a few tears before it ends.
Our friends at Lionsgate are sponsoring a giveaway where one of our lucky readers can win a Blu-ray copy of Arthur the King! Read about the movie below and watch our interview with Mikael Lindnord, who is played by Mark Wahlberg in the movie, as he tells us about Arthur and behind-the-scenes moments in the movie.
In ARTHUR THE KING, an unbreakable bond is forged between pro adventure racer Michael Light and a scrappy street dog companion dubbed Arthur over the course of a grueling 10-day, 435-mile racecourse. An“inspiring story for the whole family” (Rachel Wagner, Rachel’s Reviews), and based on true events, ARTHUR THE KING follows Light, desperate for one last chance to win, as he convinces sponsors to back him and a team of athletes for the Adventure Racing World Championship in the DominicanRepublic.Pushing the team to the outer limits of endurance and sacrifice, Arthur redefines what victory, loyalty, and friendship truly mean.
