Friends, we were lucky to experience the new Bluey x Camp collaboration last week and my family had an amazing time. I will admit that I have not watched as many Bluey episodes as the next parent, but you do not need to know much to attend. You need to know that you will have a lot of fun and so will your kids. I will not spoil too much of the surprises that await you so I will keep some of our visit a secret.
The visits to Bluey’s house are all times and be prepared to spend about a good 45 – 50 minutes at the event. If you have younger ones, try to pick a time after their nap so they can get the full experience. Once you are at the Camp location you must say a few things for the magic door to open for your group. Like Tom Hanks in Big, you will encounter a magical floor where when the right notes are played the adventure begins. It does not matter how old you are, once those notes are hit you will be smiling from ear to ear when the presentation starts on the wall.
Friends, walking into Bluey’s house is such an incredible experience. The kitchen looked amazing and you can go around and physically touch the items that you only see on the screen when watching the cartoon. It was so cool to open the cabinets and see the interactive video screens helping you with your visit. Yes, there is a specific reason that you are in the house and you will learn about this when you go.
Each room has an interactive element to it and you can’t help but look around and want to experience all of it. The rooms that are created for you to experience are the kitchen, the living room, the dining room, the bedroom, the playroom, and a few more that you will have to see for yourself. You can use the remote control on the television and switch through the stations. Now, you do not go to Bluey’s house just to watch television, you go to their house to have fun and play some games. This is where the team from Camp comes into play. They help guide the tour along and suggest games to play while you are on your mission.
Here is where you have to check your ego at the door. My son and I had a lot of fun dancing around and playing “Keepy uppy” with the cast. Their energy is so infectious that you can’t help but be silly with your kid and have fun. That is one of the great things about this experience is just enjoying the moment and having fun with your kids. It was great seeing the younger kids get excited when Bluey or Bingo would magically walk by on the digital walls. I enjoyed seeing how happy they got seeing these characters walk by.
All of these games and breakout rooms lead to one big finale that will surely put a smile on everyone’s faces. My daughter had the biggest smile I had seen when we walked into the final room. Yes, friends, this is such a fun experience and I hope you all get to experience it at Camp while it is here. With the end of the school year coming up, this would be a great way to spend the day!

What is also great about this experience is that they have days for special needs kids. Beginning Wednesday, June 5, children with special needs and their families will be able to explore Bluey and Bingo’s house in a funny and heartwarming immersive adventure. Sensory-friendly days for Bluey x CAMP will continue every other Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m.
During the sensory-friendly experience, Bluey x CAMP guests can take advantage of modifications including dimmed lighting, lowered sounds, fewer guests, and adjusted games and activities to accommodate the needs of each guest.
