Macerich’s Fashion Outlets of Chicago, located at 5220 Fashion Outlets Way in Rosemont, will kick off its holiday festivities with the return of Santa visits at the shopping center beginning Friday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. While visits with Santa are always free, Fashion Outlets of Chicago will also offer a variety of keepsake photo packages available for purchase.
Throughout the season, pet owners are encouraged to bring their leashed furry friends to take part in the holiday cheer during Fashion Outlets of Chicago’s family-favorite Pet Nights. Every Monday evening from November 10 through December 8, cats and dogs are welcome to join their owners for photos with Santa from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Participating pet owners are encouraged to park on P2 (second level) of the parking garage to easily access Santa’s set.

Additionally, Fashion Outlets of Chicago will once again invite children with special needs and their families for “Santa Cares,” a sensory-friendly Santa experience on Sunday, December 7 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Taking place prior to shopping center opening and put on in partnership with Autism Speaks, “Santa Cares” will be carefully managed to accommodate guests with autism and other special needs, including necessary environmental adjustments to meet guests’ sensory challenges.
Along with traditional photos with Santa, Fashion Outlets of Chicago will host a variety of themed days for families to make their Santa experience even more special!
- Pajama Party Tuesdays: families are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas to come meet Santa.
- Baby’s First Wednesdays: Fashion Outlets of Chicago invites families with children one year of age or younger for Baby’s First Santa Visits.
- Ugly Sweater Thursdays: families are encouraged to wear their best ugly Christmas sweaters for a silly and memorable photo opportunity with Santa.
Continuing the shopping center’s support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago, Fashion Outlets will again host a Giving Tree beginning Nov. 1, located near Concierge Services on Level One of the shopping center. All guests who donate will receive a complimentary Savings Pass and a $10 gift card from a participating retailer.
